Mary McDonnell

 Mary Eileen McDonnell was born on the 28th of April 1952. She is an American stage actor, film and television star. Her roles in Dances with Wolves, Stands With A Fist and Passion Fish brought her Academy Award nominations. McDonnell is most well-known for her appearances in Battlestar Galactica as President Laura Roslin and First Lady Marilyn Whitmore, and Rose in Donnie Darko. In the seasons of 5-7 she was in the role of Captain Sharon Raydor and in Major Crimes spin-offs on TNT.
