Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor from 11 November 1996. Her first feature film appearance was a tiny part on The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan donavan was featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1998) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody became a model after she was approached by a aspiring photographer. She has since evolved into commercial modelling. Doody did not like glamour or nude work. This was a principle that was carried into her acting. Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. She starred as Flannery on the screen in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody was a part of The 2003 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine played her in a ceremony to receive an award. Doody acted alongside Patrick Swayze in a 2004 film adaptation for television from King Solomon's Mines and also appeared in a short film called Benjamin's Struggle (2005) a pamphlet about the Holocaust and in the British TV series Waking the Dead (in a two-part episode known as. She later guest starred in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to be the lead actress in a remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx but the project was later put on hold. She began her first two seasons of The E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. The show featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way which was a film from 2014. In November of 2018 she was awarded the Almeria award for best film and received a Star on Almeria's Walk of Fame.
